Sunday Crowd Season's First Sell-Out

LAKEWOOD, NJ - The BlueClaws crowd of 8,000 on Sunday was the first sell-out in the history of FirstEnergy Park. The BlueClaws announced in March that no crowd would exceed 8,000 and Sunday's was the first sell-out.

Those 8,000 fans, which included over 1,500 Kids Club members who ate for free (thanks to ShopRite), saw the BlueClaws top Hagerstown 7-4.

"It was a gorgeous day at FirstEnergy Park," said BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown. "We had a great crowd and a BlueClaws win, and we can't wait for more days like this."

The BlueClaws held several focus groups and consultations with season ticket and ticket package holders in the off-season and are following their recommendation to call 8,000 a sell-out crowd.
