Hopkins & Vrame join Hawks
Boise resident Tim Hopkins was born and raised in Seattle. He originally moved to Idaho in 1977 and returned to Boise in 2005. Hopkins is the President and Director of Crimson Development LLC, an agency that specializes in consumer packaged goods. He's been with the company for 20 years as a sales and marketing executive.
"I am very excited to help build the Boise Hawks franchise as part of this dynamic new ownership group," said Hopkins. "The family oriented nature of the Hawks experience ties in perfectly with the lifestyle here in Boise. I look forward to helping the community to embrace this great local asset." Hopkins joins Harvey Neef as the second local investor in the Hawks' ownership group.
Sacramento, CA resident Chris Vrame is a managing member of Sierra Holdings, LLC. Sierra Holdings is a real estate development firm founded in 1995. The company is primarily focused on commercial and land development in the Sacramento Area. He is also one of the founding members of Arena Baseball, LLC an indoor baseball company.
Mr. Vrame's expertise lies in the area of acquisition, development planning, entitlement processing, environmental policy and project financing.
"We're excited to have two such accomplished people join the team," said Hawks' President/GM Todd Rahr. "Mr. Hopkins and Mr. Vrame are committed to helping Boise and the Hawks continue to grow in a positive way."
The Hawks are owned by Boise Baseball LLC, which is comprised of a pair of ownership groups - Minor League Baseball Holdings and Boise Hawks Baseball Club LLC. Minor League Baseball Holdings is based in Houston, TX and is spearheaded by the club's Chairman & CEO, Neil Liebman. Boise Hawks Baseball Club LLC is based in Bellevue, WA. Hopkins and Vrame are part of this group.
The Hawks are in their 21st season of Northwest League play. The club has won 6 NWL Championships, the most recent banner coming in 2004.
