B-Mets announce 2008 slate

As this season winds down to its final weekend, the Binghamton Mets look forward to the 2008 campaign that will begin at home on Thursday, April 3rd. The B-Mets will host the Double-A Yankees (Trenton Thunder) in the first of 142 scheduled games, 71 at home, in the season opener at NYSEG Stadium with the 1st pitch slated for 6:35 pm.

Monday through Thursday home games in April and May will begin at 6:35 pm with the exceptions of Thursday, May 15th (10:35 am) & Monday, May 26th (1:05 pm). Home games on Saturdays through early May will start at 1:05 pm.

Starting in June, first pitches for all home games from Monday-Saturday will be scheduled for 7:05 pm except Thursday, June 12th (10:35 am) & Monday, July 7th (1:05 pm). Friday home games all season long will commence at 7:05 pm. All Sunday games except for May 25th, July 6th & August 24th (6:35 pm) will begin at 1:05 pm.

The B-Mets 17th season features home games on Memorial Day and Independence Day. All Eastern League road cities will remain the same next year. The Eastern League All-Star Game will occur on Wednesday, July 16th at Merchantsauto.com Stadium, home of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
