International League
Jae Seo, Durham

Jae Seo saved his best two outings of the year for when it mattered most -- the heat of the playoff race. On Tuesday, Seo tossed six innings, giving up one run on three hits to keep the Bulls in the postseason hunt. In his next outing, Seo was even better as he pitched a gem to clinch the Bulls' first playoff berth since 2003. The Korean native scattered four hits over seven innings, allowing just an unearned run. Seo has now won four straight games as the Bulls ride into the playoffs.

Pacific Coast League
Dallas Braden, Sacramento
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 1 CG, 1 SHO, 9.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 17 SO
Dallas Braden was just about flawless on Monday. The southpaw hurled a complete-game shutout to snap his own two-game losing streak. Braden also struck out 17 batters, smashing the Minor League season high and Sacramento franchise record of 14. Braden allowed just three hits and hit one batter as he retired the final 19 hitters in order. It was the second straight complete game for Braden, who was promoted to Oakland shortly after the performance.

Eastern League
Luis Munoz, Altoona
2-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 13.2 IP, 11 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 10 SO
Heading into last week, Luis Munoz had not won a game since July 24. But that all changed as Munoz was dominant on Monday. The Dominican native threw seven innings of shutout ball without issuing a single walk. Munoz was just slightly less dazzling in his next start on Saturday. He gave up 2 unearned runs over 6 2/3 innings. Munoz scattered six hits and allowed just one walk while fanning eight batters.

Southern League
Carlos Torres, Birmingham
1-0. 0.00 ERA, 2 G. 0 GS, 4 H, 7.2 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 14 SO
It's not often that we get to honor the unsung heroes of the bullpen, but Carlos Torres was tremendous in middle relief during the final days of the season. Over 7 2/3 innings of work, the righty did not allow a run and gave up a mere four hits and one walk. Torres struck out 14 of the 26 batters he faced. The highlight of the week came on Aug. 27 when Torres entered the game in the fifth inning with a two-run lead, two men on base, and no outs. Torres recorded a strikeout and induced an inning-ending double play to protect the lead for Birmingham.

Texas League
Mitchell Boggs, Springfield
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 8.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 5 SO
As the season was winding down and the Cardinals were trying to hold on to their Texas League North Division lead, they needed someone to step up. On Thursday, Mitchell Boggs delivered his best performance of the season. The Georgia native threw eight innings of scoreless baseball, giving up just two hits and three walks. Boggs struck out five to earn the win and help the Cardinals secure their first second-half North Division title.

California League
Chris Tillman, High Desert
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 6.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 13 SO
At times this season, Chris Tillman struggled in the hitter-friendly California League. On Wednesday, though, things seemed to come together. The big righty struck out a career-high 13 batters over six scoreless innings. Tillman gave up two hits and issued two walks. It was the first time this season that he had not given up a run.

Carolina League
Daniel Cortes, Wilmington

Daniel Cortes earned his second consecutive Pitcher of the Week honor with another brilliant stint on the mound. Cortes made sure Wilmington clinched the Carolina League Northern Division on Tuesday by going seven innings without giving up a run and striking out six. In his next start, the California native went five innings, allowing just an unearned run while fanning eight batters and issuing one walk. Cortes has been a dominant force for Wilmington all season, ranking fourth in the league in ERA and fifth in strikeouts.

Florida State League
Andrew Carpenter, Clearwater
2-0, 0.69 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 1 CG, 1 SHO, 13.0 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 14 SO
In order to clinch a playoff berth, Clearwater had to have their "A" game heading into the final week of the season. Andrew Carpenter gave the Threshers "A plus" performances. Carpenter was flawless on Monday as he pitched a seven-inning perfect game. It was the California native's second shutout and third complete game of the season. On Saturday, Carpenter wasn't quite as amazing. He took a no-hitter into the sixth inning before giving up a solo home run. It was the only blemish on his scorecard. With the victory, Carpenter became the third 17-game winner in the Minor Leagues.

Midwest League
Kasey Kiker, Clinton
2-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 11.2 IP, 6 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 7 BB, 14 SO
Kasey Kiker keeps dazzling as he earned his third Pitcher of the Week honor this season. The small yet powerful lefty had arguably his best outing on Monday. Kiker went a season-high 6 2/3 innings without giving up a run. He scattered three hits and issued three walks while matching his career high in strikeouts with nine. In his next start, Kiker was only slightly less spectacular, tossing five innings of scoreless baseball on five hits and four walks. The Alabama native has lost just one decision since July 16.

South Atlantic League
Heath Rollins, Columbus
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 1 CG, 1 SHO, 7.0 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 SO
Heath Rollins has been virtually unhittable most of the season and this week was no different as the righty racked up his fourth Pitcher of the Week award. Rollins made sure Columbus earned a playoff berth by pitching the first complete game of his career. He went seven innings, giving up an unearned run on four hits without a walk. Rollins became the first pitcher in the SAL to reach 17 wins since Fausto Carmona in 2003. Rollins is one of three Minor League pitchers with 17 victories this season.

New York-Penn League
Jordan Craft, Lowell
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 11.0 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 8 SO
After starting the season in the bullpen, Jordan Craft has certainly cemented himself as a venerable starter in the Lowell rotation. With the Spinners in dire need of wins to remain in the NYPL playoff hunt, Craft came through with some of his best performances. On Monday, the righty went six innings, allowing an unearned run and just two hits. He followed that performance on Saturday with five innings of scoreless ball.

Northwest League
Keith Meyer, Everett
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 G, 1 GS, 8.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 11 SO
Keith Meyer made his first start of the season on Sunday and it looks like he may have found his calling. The southpaw went a season-high five innings without allowing a single run. He matched his season high in strikeouts with six and gave up just two hits. Before his start, Meyer worked three innings out of the bullpen on Tuesday, earning a victory with three perfect innings and five strikeouts.

Pioneer League
Aaron Poreda, Great Falls
2-0, 0.90 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 10.0 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 13 SO
Aaron Poreda closed out the season in style. On Monday, the 6-foot-6 lefty tossed five innings of one-hit, scoreless baseball. Then, on Sunday, Poreda went five innings again to earn his third straight victory in as many decisions. He allowed just one run on three hits while matching his season-high seven strikeouts. Poreda, a 2007 first-round draft pick who appeared 12 games (8 starts), did not lose a single game the entire season.
