'CAPS AND KERNELS RAINED OUT IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Cedar Rapids, IA - Sunday afternoon's scheduled game between the West Michigan Whitecaps and Cedar Rapids Kernels at Veterans Memorial Stadium has been postponed due to rain.

The game started in a delay as pending storms approached Eastern Iowa, and was officially postponed at 3:15 p.m. ET due to the heavy rains expected over the remainder of the day.

West Michigan and Cedar Rapids will make up the rainout with a doubleheader featuring two seven-inning games on Monday evening. The first game will start at 6:30 p.m. ET and there will be a 30-minute break between games.

Both games will be aired live across West Michigan on 107.3 WBBL-FM.
