Scott Brosius at Volcanoes Stadium

Former New York Yankees Great and World Series Hero Scott Brosius will throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch at Volcanoes Stadium for Game 3 of the Northwest League Championship Series on Saturday, September 8th. Game time is 7:05pm, gates open at 6:00pm. The Volcanoes will host either the Boise Hawks or the Tri City Dust Devils in the best of 5 Series for the League Championship with Game 3 on Saturday, September 8, and Games 4 and 5 on Sunday and Monday September 9 and 10, if necessary, all being played at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer.

Brosius joined the Yankees in 1998 and hit .300 with 98 RBI's and 19 home runs in his first season with the Bronx Bombers. During his career with the Yankees, they won the American League pennant every year, from 1998-2001 as well as the World Series in 1998, 1999, and 2000. Brosius won the World Series MVP Award, was an American League All-Star and also won a Gold Glove for his spectacular defensive play at third base.

Northwest League Championship Tickets, in all seating sections including the popular lower level box seats, are on sale now at the Volcanoes Stadium ticket office. Tickets are sold in 3-game strips -- credit will be given for any games not played in the best of 5 Series. Prices range from $8 to $12, per seat, depending on seat selection.
