River Cats welcome Hatch as VP of ticket sales

WEST SACRAMENTO, CALIF. -- Ripper Hatch will join the Sacramento River Cats and Raley Field on Monday, Sept. 24 as Vice President of Ticket Sales. In this role, Hatch will oversee all functions related to the sale of tickets for River Cats baseball and all other events at Raley Field. As a result of the addition of Hatch, longtime River Cats' executive staff member Andy Fiske's role will change to Vice President of Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Fiske will oversee all marketing, advertising and promotions for the River Cats and Raley Field.

Hatch, a South Dakota native, has dedicated the majority of his 14-year career to Minor League Baseball. He brings with him a tremendous amount of Minor League Baseball experience from markets of all sizes, including Spokane, Wash., Sioux Falls, S.D. and, most recently, Portland, Ore. Hatch has also spent time with Daktronics scoreboards in their sales department.

Hatch is a graduate of Princeton University and earned a Masters Degree in Sports Management at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Hatch will be joined in Sacramento by his wife, Brenda, and daughter Lily.
