With the 2007 season in the books, MiLB.com is taking a look back at the year's highlights in each Major League organization.

April 6 -- After batting .335 with 26 homers and 97 RBIs between three different Minor League levels in 2006, Adam Lind belted a three-run homer and stroked a two-run single in Syracuse's 16-0 blanking of Durham. The left fielder, who went 3-for-6, was promoted to Toronto the following week. He had five RBIs for the Blue Jays on June 5.

April 12 -- Brian Pettway crushed a walk-off two-run homer to power Lansing past West Michigan, 3-1. The blast was Pettway's first of two walk-off shots in 2007.

April 18 -- David Purcey pitched a one-hitter and struck out a career-high 11 as New Hampshire stifled Connecticut, 1-0, in the opener of a doubleheader. He won his third straight game on April 23, yielding a run on a hit over seven innings to lower his ERA to 0.89.

April 21 -- The Lansing Lugnuts set a franchise record with their 10th straight win as Nathan Starner and Seth Overbey combined on a five-hitter in a 4-0 blanking of Beloit.

April 24 -- Jesse Litsch took a perfect game into the sixth inning as New Hampshire defeated Binghamton, 3-1. The 22-year-old right-hander gave up a leadoff single to Caleb Stewart and walked two with six strikeouts over 6 1/3 frames. He was named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for April 23-29.

April 26 -- Chip Cannon slugged a walk-off homer, his first of two in 2007, in the 13th inning as New Hampshire edged Binghamton, 5-4, to complete a four-game sweep. He also drilled a game-winning shot in the 10th inning of a 4-3 victory over Connecticut on May 9.

May 4 -- Sergio Santos blasted two homers, including a two-run walk-off shot, and drove in five runs as New Hampshire rallied past Bowie, 6-4. The 24-year-old shortstop also had two roundtrippers on April 23 and Aug. 22.

May 8 -- Ryan Patterson clubbed a grand slam as New Hampshire hit five homers and Kurt Isenberg pitched his first career complete game in a 12-1 romp over Connecticut. Isenberg gave up seven hits and fanned eight.

May 9 -- Josh Banks tossed his second of three complete games in 2007 as Syracuse edged Indianapolis, 2-1. The 25-year-old right-hander allowed five hits with a strikeout and retired 13 of the final 14 batters.

May 10 -- New Hampshire had a no-hitter broken up with two outs in the ninth inning in a 3-1 victory over Bowie. Jesse Litsch tossed the first seven frames and Jesse Carlson and Tracy Thorpe kept the no-no intact until Oscar Salazar's RBI double. Litsch also won his Major League debut against Baltimore on May 15.

May 18 -- Nate Starner pitched five hitless innings and combined with three relievers on a one-hitter as Lansing blanked Wisconsin, 11-0. Edward Rodriguez gave up a leadoff single to Kuo Hui Lo in the sixth before Seth Overbey and Paul Phillips each tossed a perfect frame.

June 3 -- Eric Nielsen and Carlo Cota each went 5-for-5 in Dunedin's 20-5 romp over Daytona. Nielsen homered and drove in five runs, Cota contributed three doubles and four RBIs and David Corrente slugged a pair of roundtrippers in the 26-hit attack.

June 5 -- Tommy Hanson took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and fanned a career-high 12 batters, but suffered the loss in Rome's 1-0 defeat to Columbus after surrendering a two-out homer to Ryan Royster in the seventh.

June 17 -- Chad Mottola collected his 1,000th career RBI in the Minors with a run-scoring single in the first inning as Syracuse beat Toledo, 6-4.

June 18 -- Manager Bill Masse picked up his 500th career win as New Hampshire edged New Britain, 8-7.

July 7 -- Travis Snider hit for one of three cycles in the Minors on July 7, going 5-for-5 as Lansing routed Fort Wayne, 6-1. Snider, who won Offensive Player of the Week honors twice in 2007, singled in the seventh inning to accomplish the feat.

July 7 -- Rehabbing Lyle Overbay blasted a grand slam and had five RBIs as New Hampshire edged Portland, 6-5.

July 11 -- Sergio Santos, who hit 20 homers for New Hampshire in 2007, won the Eastern League Home Run Derby with six blasts in the first round and three in the second.

July 14 -- Manuel Rodriguez went a career-best 6-for-6 and drove in three runs as Auburn topped Lowell, 10-9, in 11 innings.

July 20 -- Kyle Ginley struck out seven consecutive batters and yielded an unearned run over five innings as Lansing rolled past Burlington, 6-1.

July 23 -- Travis Snider recorded his second five-hit game in July as Lansing outlasted Quad Cities, 11-10, in 16 innings.

Aug. 4 -- Graham Godfrey, Benjamin Harrison and Edgar Estanga combined on a two-hitter and Sean Shoffit smashed a seventh-inning homer as Lansing edged Peoria, 1-0.

Aug. 6 -- Jacob Butler and Jesus Gonzalez homered and plated four runs apiece to power Dunedin past Palm Beach, 11-3. Gonzalez and Anthony Hatch cranked back-to-back homers in a four-run fourth inning.

Aug. 19 -- David Smith homered for the fourth straight game and New Hampshire set a season high for runs scored in a 15-3 trouncing over Binghamton. Smith, who finished with 24 homers for the Fisher Cats, slugged a two-run shot in the third inning and scored four times.

Aug. 20 -- John Hattig homered and Adam Lind stroked a two-run double as Syracuse snapped a 10-game losing streak with an 8-6 victory over Pawtucket.

Aug. 20 -- Robert Ray took a no-hitter into the eighth inning as Dunedin beat Fort Myers, 8-2. The 23-year-old right-hander gave up a leadoff triple to Juan Portes in the eighth to end the no-hit bid.

Aug. 22 -- Ty Taubenheim and Jo Matumoto combined on a two-hitter as New Hampshire blanked New Britain, 12-0. Taubenheim allowed two hits and a pair of walks with five strikeouts over a season-high eight frames.

Aug. 23 -- Lansing clinched a Midwest League playoff berth, defeating South Bend, 8-1, in a rain-shortened contest. Matthew Lane drove in four runs, Matthew Liuzza and Chris Emanuele homered and Nathan Starner pitched 5 1/3 innings for his first career complete game.

Aug. 23 -- Marc Rzepczynski established a career high with 12 strikeouts over 7 1/3 innings as Auburn doubled up Williamsport, 4-2. The California native won his fourth straight decision to remain undefeated, giving up two runs on four hits.

Sept. 1 -- Auburn clinched its sixth straight New York-Penn League Pinckney Division title as Victor Santana and Benjamin Zeskind homered to highlight a 7-2 victory over Jamestown.

Sept. 2 -- Kevin Nelson homered twice and drove in a career-high six runs and Brian Pettway belted his second walk-off homer of the season as Lansing outlasted West Michigan, 12-11, in 13 innings. Pettway's first walk-off blast also came against West Michigan on April 12.

Sept. 6 -- Despite losing its last three regular-season contests against Lansing, West Michigan won its second straight postseason game over the Lugnuts, 6-3, to clinch its Midwest League first-round playoff series.

Sept. 11 -- Auburn edged Oneonta, 4-3, to win the New York-Penn League semifinals. Brad Emaus went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and starter Luis Perez got the win, giving up a run on five hits and two walks with six strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings.

Sept. 14 -- The Doubledays were crowned the New York-Penn League champions after Brett Cecil worked a career-high seven innings and J.P. Arencibia and Darin Mastroianni cranked two-run homers in a 4-1 victory over Brooklyn. Auburn captured its first outright title since 1973.
