Ag Night, Romo Bobblehead On Tap For Homestand
The homestand kicks off on Tuesday, May 8th for a Tornados Tuesday at 7:05 pm. Fans can purchase 2-for-1 Field Box tickets and receive two John's Incredible Pizza Company vouchers. Also, through the fifth inning, fans can purchase Tornados and sodas for $2 each. The first 250 kids 12 and under will receive a free Louisville Wiffle Bat, courtesy of Ruiz Foods.
Wednesday, May 9th is Everybody Wins-Days, presented by the Fresno Bee. For just $40, fans can purchase four Super View tickets and will receive four Jamba Juice vouchers and four RaceRoom @ River Park vouchers. May 9th is also the first Wine Glass Wednesday, presented by CRU Wine, of the season. Fans who purchase a glass of wine on the concourse or in the CRU Club will receive a complimentary CRU wine glass.
The Thursday, May 10th game is "Diez De Mayo: Hispanic Heritage Night," presented by Tecate. The Grizzlies will celebrate and honor the heritages of the Hispanic community found throughout the Fresno area. It is also Tecate Thirstdays, where fans can purchase $1 Tecate and Tecate Light through the fifth inning and $1 soda all game long.
The four-game series against the Iowa Cubs wraps up on Friday, May 11th for Ag Night, presented by Bayer CropScience. Gates will open early for the May 11th game, as the Tulare Plaza at Chukchansi Park will feature live music and food carts for fans to enjoy, starting at 5:05 pm. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to also enjoy the Boardwalk at Chukchansi Park. The first 2,000 fans to the 7:05 pm game will receive a Brandon Belt poster. The night will also feature a canned food drive, presented by Crown Jewels Produce, a performance by the Drag Kings as well as a Friday Night Fireworks show. For each walk-up ticket sold for the Friday game, $1 will be donated to the Fresno Community Food Bank.
The Omaha Storm Chasers will come into town on Saturday, May 12th to begin a four-game set against the Grizzlies. The first 2,000 fans to the Saturday game will receive a San Francisco Giants Sergio Romo bobblehead. The Romo bobblehead is the same one Giants fans received on May 5th at AT&T Park.
Sunday, May 13th is Gildan's Pampering at the Park. Mothers attending the game can purchase special $2 Field Level Reserve tickets, with $1 going to the Central Valley affiliate of Susan G. Komen. As part of the Mother's Day celebration, there will be massage tables and manicure stations around the stadium to pamper moms before and during the game. As with every Sunday home game, it is also Save Mart Sundays, presented by Save Mart Supermarkets. There will be a Future Giants and Parker Autograph session before the game and a postgame Kids Run The Bases. First pitch is at 2:05 pm.
On Monday, May 14th, it is Monday Madness, presented by ABC 30 and Wild Water Adventure Park. For $32, fans will receive two Field Level Reserve tickets, two Wild Water Adventure Park passes, two Blackbeard's mini golf passes, two Rotary Storyland & Playland Fantasy Day passes, two hot dogs and two sodas.
The series against Omaha concludes on Tuesday, May 15th for a special 11:05 am start. The day game will be the final Making The Grade Day, presented by Save Mart Supermarkets, of the season. Students from local schools will visit Chukchansi Park for an educational field trip at a Grizzlies game. It is also another Tornados Tuesdays where fans can purchase 2-for-1 Field Box tickets and receive two John's Incredible Pizza Company vouchers as well as buy $2 Tornados and sodas through the fifth inning.
