Mascot Mania/Sherman's Birthday Info

Salisbury, Md. - The Delmarva Shorebirds are hosting Mascot Mania in conjunction with Sherman's birthday on Friday, May 11 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The Shorebirds take on the Kannapolis Intimidators at 7:05pm. Poe from the Baltimore Ravens is the featured mascot scheduled to help celebrate Sherman's birthday. The event is presented by Sherwood of Salisbury.

The Shorebirds are hosting a meet-and-greet with all the mascots in the Hardball Cafe. The package deal includes a dinner buffet (chicken nuggets, hot dogs, lemonade and chips), a ticket to the game and a chance to take pictures with all the mascots.

Other mascots expected to attend include: Louie from Bowie Baysox, Tommy Moose from the Moose Lodge, Smokey the Bear, Icee from the Delaware State fair, Chipper from Herrs, Delmar Wildcat from Delmar High, Harry T. Hawk from UMES, Mr. Tooth, Scruff McGruff from the Salisbury Police Department, Pirate from Jolly Rogers, Mr. Tooth from Kool Smiles and Kicker the Rabbit from Crown Sports Center.

Friday, May 11 is also a Big Beer Friday at Perdue Stadium. Miller Lite and Coors Light 32 oz. draft beers are just $6.
