Marshall Brewing Develops Special Beer For Drillers Games

The Drillers and Tulsa's Marshall Brewing Company have teamed up to offer fans a special beer this season. The new beer has been labeled "All-Star Wheat" and was developed in honor of the 2012 Texas League All-Star Game and will only be available at ONEOK Field.

Wes Marshall of Marshall Brewing Company said, "All-Star Wheat features a medium body and a light sweetness to create a refreshing beer with exceptional sessionability."

He added, "All-Star Wheat is a German-style Hefeweizen perfectly suited for watching baseball on warm afternoons and evenings in Oklahoma. It has aromas of banana and bubblegum which are created by the traditional German ale yeast used during fermentation. The yeast is left in the beer to both provide flavor and the typical cloudiness of a German-style wheat beer."

All-Star Wheat will be available during all events at ONEOK Field and will be unveiled for the first time during the Drillers game with Arkansas on Friday, May 11. It will be available on draft at the following locations:

Craft Beer Cart (on concourse behind home plate)
Margaritaville Stand (along third base concourse)
Liquor Cart (down the first base concourse)
