JOSEPH P. RILEY, JR. PARK - CHARLESTON, SC The 2012 South Atlantic League All-Star Game and festivities take place in Charleston, SC June 17 through June 19. The game is presented by General Dynamics Land Systems- Force Protection and the Charleston Restaurant Association. Tickets are ON SALE now for all of the events surrounding the All-Star Game. Welcome Luau- Sunday June 17, 7pm-9pm. Presented by Town of Mt. Pleasant, Pearlstine Distributors Enjoy an outdoor party as the teams and executives arrive to Charleston. This event is open to the public and is $20 per person and includes a meal and open bar. The luau will be held at the Lookout Pavillion at The Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina. Presented by Miller High Life This unique experience takes place on the flight deck of the USS Yorktown. Come watch the sluggers of the S.A.L. smash home runs in to Charleston harbor! This event is free, and includes access to the Yorktown if you mention the code "All-Star" at the gate. Welcome Reception Dinner- Monday June 18, 7pm-9pm All league executives and All-Stars will be on hand for this dinner at the historic Hibernian Hall at 115 Meeting Street in downtown Charleston. Hall of Fame Luncheon- Tuesday June 19, 11:45am-2pm. Presented by Match Up Promotions The 2012 S.A.L. All-Stars will be introduced and the 2012 Hall of Fame class will be officially inducted. This Hall of Fame class includes RiverDogs co-owner Bill Murray, Charleston Mayor Joe Riley, and longtime Asheville Tourists operator Carolyn McKee. The keynote speaker will be New York Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman. This event takes place at the Charleston Marriott Hotel at 179 Lockwood Boulevard. Presented by Rick Hendrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge of North Charleston Outside the gates to Riley Park a FREE fan fest will take place including live music, inflatables, interactive games, face painting, and more! Both S.A.L. All-Star teams will be on hand to sign autographs from approximately 2:30pm-3:30pm. 2012 S.A.L. All-Star Game- Tuesday June 19, 7:30pm. Presented by General Dynamics and the Charleston Restaurant Association The 2012 S.A.L. Postgame Beach Party- Tuesday June 19, 10:30pm. Presented by Town of Mt. Pleasant Following the game both teams and executives will head across the harbor the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina Beach.
