Giants present Gigante's Halloween party

Come out for an evening of free and safe Halloween fun

SAN JOSE, CALIF - The San Jose Giants and Comcast join forces to bring a free night of trick-or-treating to the San Jose Community. Gigante's Halloween Party will take place on Wednesday, October 31st at Municipal Stadium. Bring the kids out for a night of safe family fun on Halloween. Have your child's picture taken with Gigante and their favorite Sprout characters including Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Noddy and the Berenstain Bears.

"Thanks to Comcast, Gigante will be able to invite all the kids in Santa Clara County down to the stadium for a night of free trick-or-treating, on-field games and big screen TV fun," said Jim Weyermann, CEO of the San Jose Giants. "Bring your kids, nieces, nephews and grandkids, if you don't have kids....borrow your neighbors, but don't miss this free event!"

The Halloween festivities include a costume contest and parade around the bases, pumpkin decorating and face painting, kids activity center on the field, children's petting zoo and game six of the World Series* on the Big Screen (*If the World Series has concluded Monster House will be shown on the video board). Admission and parking are FREE. Gates open at 4:30 PM and the party goes until to 8:30 PM. Great prizes will be raffled off throughout the evening including a San Jose Giants Opening Day VIP Package.
