Concessions Focus

We are six weeks after the end of the 2007 season and the excitement for 2008 is already starting to build.

Plans are being made to provide a completely new feel to the concessions and catering operation at Classic Park. Here are some of the improvements that are in the works:

More Places to Purchase Food

In 2007, there were only three locations to purchase a hot dog. In 2008, there will be at least nine. We did not anticipate the success of our Buck Night promotions, but we will be ready for the coming season.

A New P.O.S. System

Our existing Point of Sale System is limited. Our fans have asked us to make Credit and Debit Card purchasing available at all locations and we are listening. The new system will also speed transaction times and help us produce more accurate quantities of food, giving fans a much improved experience at our registers.

Gift Cards will be Available

Whether you are a super fan or just looking for a great holiday gift, the Captains Gift Card will offer a new option for payment. The gift card should be available by Thanksgiving, just in time for holiday gift giving.

The Right Field Terrace Buffet

We are offering a new level of service at Classic Park. Fans will be able to enjoy a great buffet in our Right Field Terrace, and then sit in box seats for the game. The buffet will include all the ballpark favorites like hot dogs and hamburgers, plus a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. This is sure to be one of the best entertainment values anywhere.

2008 looks to be an exciting season. Make sure to get your tickets early.
