Ports add Michael Mueller as Stadium Operations Assistant
The Stockton Ports have added Michael Mueller as the team's new stadium operations assistant for the 2020 season.
Mueller's a graduate from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in business and economics.
"I couldn't be more excited to join the Ports family," Mueller said. "I'm ready to spend another great summer at the ballpark and making Banner Island Ballpark as fan-friendly as possible."
Mueller's previous experience in professional sports includes a season working for the Asheville Tourists (Low-A for the Rockies) as the stadium operations assistant manager. He also worked two seasons at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in event and facility operations for both the Los Angeles Rams and USC Trojans football.
"We're really excited to add Michael to our team for the 2020 season," Ports Director of Operations and Events Luke Johnson said. "Michael's previous experience in minor league baseball and stadium operations will help us we prepare for the 2020 season and the California League All-Star Game at Banner Island Ballpark on June 23."
In his free time, Mueller enjoys going to breweries, music festivals and watching his beloved Arizona Cardinals.
The Ports begin play on April 7, and will open up at home against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes at Banner Island Ballpark. Season tickets and mini-plans are available for purchase online at www.stocktonports.com, or on the phone at 209-644-1900.
