Bandits to Give Away Replica World Series Rings in August
The first 2,000 fans to Modern Woodmen Park on Aug. 22 will receive the replica rings, which are made by Success Promotions.
"The replica World Series Championship rings are an exciting addition to our giveaway lineup at Modern Woodmen Park," said River Bandits team owner Dave Heller. "These rings sold out in a matter of hours when the Cardinals gave them away in St. Louis, and they are now selling for as much as $75 apiece on eBay, but we wanted our fans to have an opportunity to own and treasure one of these fantastic World Series Championship replica rings."
The River Bandits join the Double-A Springfield Cardinals, the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds and the major league St. Louis Cardinals as teams that have scheduled a giveaway of the replica rings this season.
The game on August 22 starts at 7 p.m. and gates open at 5:30 p.m. at Modern Woodmen Park. Both games are on Pay Your Bill Wednesdays presented by Mix 96, when fans can bring copies of their bills for a drawing in which two bills will be paid up to $100 by the River Bandits.
In addition to this great offer, the bobblehead of Cardinals outfielder Allen Craig will be given away Saturday, Aug. 11, presented by VISTA International Operations and WQAD-TV. Finally, a gnome of Cardinals pitcher Jason Motte will be given away Saturday, Aug. 18, courtesy of Bayside Smoothies and KWQC-TV.
"The Cardinals' World Series Championship is a recurring highlight this season at Modern Woodmen Park," said River Bandits General Manager Stefanie Brown. "The replica World Series Championship rings will be a great item for fans to wear or display to show their River Bandits and Cardinals pride."
