Baseball Winter Meetings return to Disney World

October 24, 2007
ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- The Baseball Winter Meetings are returning to Disney World. The annual gathering of team and league executives from all levels of professional baseball will be held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotel complex from Dec. 4-7 in 2010.

When the same site hosted the Baseball Winter Meetings in 2006 they proved to be very popular with the participants and their families and earned a quick return visit.

The Swan and Dolphin, located on Walt Disney World property south of Orlando, is a two-building complex, connected by a walkway, and has a total of more than 2,200 rooms, an attractive drawing card that puts the assembled executives from both Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball in close proximity. The Baseball Trade Show will be on-site at the exhibit hall in the Dolphin building.

This year's Baseball Winter Meetings will take place from Dec. 3-6 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN. The 2008 Winter Meetings will be in Las Vegas (Dec. 8-11) and the 2009 sessions are slated for Indianapolis (Dec. 7-10).
