Classic baseball returns to Salt Lake
"We are excited to bring Salt Lake baseball back to its roots," said Miller. "The Bees are a significant part of baseball history in Utah and it's our hope that the change will bring with it the nostalgia baseball is known for."
Originally an affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Bees will return to its classic logo and colors of black and gold. The Bees home uniform is white with gold trim with "Bees" across the front in vintage black letters with a gold shadow. The road uniform is gray with gold trim with "Salt Lake" across the front in vintage black letters with a gold shadow.
The team will also have an alternate black top with gold trim with "Bees" across the front in vintage gold letters with a white shadow. The top can be worn either at home or on the road with either white or gray pants. Two caps, one in black and one in gray, will be used primarily during the season and will feature the Bee logo. An alternate black cap will also be used with the letters "S" and "L" overlapped.
Fanzz, the official team store of the Salt Lake Bees, is the exclusive outlet for Bees merchandise. A variety of apparel is available now, including T-shirts, golf shirts and ball caps, with more items to be added in the coming months. Bees season tickets, which start as low as $6 per game, are available now by calling 325-BASE.
