TinCaps to Host Major League Baseball Tryout

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Fort Wayne TinCaps, in conjunction with the San Diego Padres, are proud to announce a Major League Baseball tryout at Parkview Field. Members of the general public between the ages of 16 and 22 are invited to the event, which will take place at Parkview Field on Wednesday, June 20th.

Position players will check in at 9:00 AM and pitchers will check in at 12 noon. All players are asked to dress accordingly and bring their own baseball equipment.

"We're happy to once again host this tryout on behalf of the Padres. It's a unique element of our great partnership with our parent club, and it gives an opportunity to baseball players in Fort Wayne and the surrounding area to showcase their baseball talent," said TinCaps President Mike Nutter.
