Goebbert, Kreke at H-E-B Saturday

CORPUS CHRISTI - Say hello to Hooks right fielder Jacob Goebbert and utility man Jordan Kreke at the H-E-B on Alameda near Robert Saturday from10:30-12:30.

The pair will sign autographs and mingle with fans as H-E-B and its customers celebrate the store's Grand Opening.

Goebbert, who played collegiately at Northwestern, is in his second season with the Hooks. He hit .305 in 75 games last year before promotion to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Goebbert is batting .268 with 11 doubles, four triples, four home runs and 28 RBIs.

Kreke, out of Eastern Illinois, spent three years in the Braves organization before Houston signed him as a free agent in January. Kreke has played all four infield positions and the outfield for Corpus Christi in 2012.
