Naturals Announce Game Times for Inaugural Season
Opening Night festivities on Thursday, April 10th will begin at 6 P.M. Games on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays will begin at 7 P.M. Friday evening games begin at 7:30 PM, and Sunday afternoon games will begin at 4 P.M. All game times are subject to change; Naturals fans are encouraged to check our website for updates.
Friday evening games in particular are sure to be popular with Naturals fans of all ages as they will feature post-game fireworks, while all Sunday games will offer kids the opportunity to run the bases after the game. Visits by national traveling entertainment and mascot acts as well as premium collectible item giveaways are also planned for the inaugural season; a complete promotional calendar will be released in the near future and available on www.nwanaturals.com.
The Naturals will hold a "School Kids Day" for local school children on Tuesday, May 6th with a start time of 11 A.M, and offer two daytime "Summertime Splash" games beginning at Noon during the summer tailored toward both the business community along with local camps; those games will be held on Thursday, June 19th and Wednesday, July 16th. In addition, games on both Saturday, August 30th and Monday, September 1st during the Naturals final homestand of the 2008 regular season will be daytime matinee games beginning at 1 P.M.
Single-game tickets for all Naturals 2008 home games will go on sale to the public in early March.
The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are the Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and will begin play at state-of-the-art Arvest Ballpark, located in Springdale, on Thursday, April 10th against the San Antonio Missions.
