RoughRiders Foundation Partners With Non-Profit For Weekend Events

FRISCO, TEXAS- The RoughRiders Foundation, RoughRiders' players and their wives and girlfriends are partnering with Kenna's Kids to raise money for three families. Kenna's Kids is a non-profit organization in the DFW area that helps families that have young children who are going through medical challenges such as cancer.

The events will be on June 22 and 23 and will include a mystery ball fundraiser, a raffle, and player baskets that will be auctioned off. All of the proceeds will go to Kenna's Kids.

In the mystery ball fundraiser, fans can pay $15 and will receive a bag with an autographed ball inside. Signed balls include current RoughRiders players.

Raffle tickets will be sold for the chance to win one of seven balls signed by the RoughRiders team as well as one mystery ball signed by a Texas Rangers' player.

Baskets full of autographed gear as well as some of the player's favorite things, like candy and golf tees, will be auctioned off during the games on Friday and Saturday. Some of the gear includes autographed bats, batting gloves, gloves, and cleats.

Friday's silent auction baskets: Mike Olt, Jurickson Profar, Barret Loux, Chris McGuiness, Tim Murphy, Jared Prince, Carlos Olivas, Alex Buchholz, Tyler Tufts, Guilder Rodriguez, Zach Zaneski, and Jose Felix.

Friday's autographed balls: Mike Adams, Joe Nathan, Robbie Ross, Michael Kirkman, Colby Lewis, and Derek Holland.

Saturday's silent auction baskets: Jake Brigham, Ryan Strausborger, Ryan Rodebaugh, Chad Bell, Val Majewski, Leury Garcia, Carlos Pimentel, Fabio Castillo, and Steve Buechele.

Saturday's autographed balls: Adrian Beltre, Scott Feldman, Craig Gentry, Ian Kinsler, Ben Snyder, Tanner Scheppers, Michael Kirkman, and Robbie Ross.

Fans must be present at the game to place bids for the player baskets. Tickets are still available for both games.

Five baseballs will be auctioned off online beginning at 5:30 PM central time. They include autographs from Greg Maddux, Roy Oswalt, Yu Darvish, Michael Young, and one ball signed by the Texas Rangers team.

The auction will remain open until midnight central time on Sunday.
