2008 New York-Penn League All Star Game

The Tri-City ValleyCats have been awarded the 2008 New York-Penn League All-Star Game. The Major Leaguers of tomorrow from the 14 team league will face off as part of a three day celebration of baseball, August 18-20. Baseball fans from all over will be traveling to Joe Bruno Stadium for this event and it will be promoted within the other facilities in the league. The three day itinerary will include a Gala Celebration with a Hall of Fame theme, and several events open to the public that will be a tremendous draw. Our sponsors will have invitations, promotional opportunities and sponsor recognition at all planned events. The game itself will likely be the most highly anticipated professional baseball event in the area's history. We expect to draw a record crowd, and receive unprecedented interest on our video simulcast and radio broadcast of this event.
