Potomac Nationals to host job fair

Team looking to hire gameday employees for '08 season

WOODBRIDGE, Va. -- The Potomac Nationals, the Carolina League affiliate of the Washington Nationals, will be hosting their annual job fair on Wednesday, March 5 and Thursday, March 6 from 5-9pm at Pfitzner Stadium. The Nationals will be hiring gameday employees for their 2008 season, which lasts from April to September.

"Working for the Nationals can be a great opportunity for young workers to gain valuable employment experience," said Carter Buschman, Director of Stadium Operations. "We will be looking for interested, energetic, and enthusiastic candidates. These positions are perfect for students, retired persons or others looking for a fun part-time job in a great atmosphere."

The P-Nats will be looking to fill approximately 50-75 part-time/paid positions. Available jobs include Concessions, Ticket Takers/Sellers, Ushers, Vendors, Parking Attendents, Grounds Crew, and Retail/Souvenir Sales. Applicants should be ages 14 and older. The Nationals encourage and welcome non-profit groups to apply to help their organization raise money.

To apply for any positions, candidates should attend the job fair and interviews will be conducted on a first come, first serve basis. Job seekers may complete an application when they arrive, download one at potomacnationals.com, or visit our offices at Pfitzner Stadium (open M-F 9am-5pm).

The P-Nats kick off the 2008 season on the road against the Salem Avalanche on April 4 and celebrate Opening Day at Pfitzner Stadium on April 8 against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
