Dog Day Barks In Wednesday
Come enjoy America's pastime with man's best friend. Wednesday the Emeralds will host Dog Day at PK Park presented by Kendall Subaru. First pitch is at 7:05 and gates open at 6 for the contest against the Vancouver Canadians.
Tickets for humans in the Dog Day section will be just $6 and Pooch Passes will be $2. All money from Pooch Passes will be given to Greenhill Humane Society. Tickets are available at the PK Park Ticket Office or at Greenhill Humane Society.
The Franz Field of Dreams program allows youngsters to take the field with the Ems. On Wednesday dogs available for adoption will take the field with the team. There will be information provided on-site about the dogs and how to adopt them.
There will be a special Dog Day entrance to the section behind the left field bleachers, next to the gravel parking lot along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Pools will be provided along with drinking water for the dogs and concession stands for humans.
With all Wednesday games, it will also be Kids Eat Free Wednesday presented by Carl's Jr. and Lone Pine Farms. All children 12 and younger will get a free hot dog, Pepsi, apple and coupon for a free meal at Carl's Jr.
