Aces Host Women's Baseball 101
July 18, 2012
RENO, Nev.– The Reno Aces will host Women's Baseball 101 presented by Reno News & Review on Saturday, August 11, from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
The unique event will allow female fans to have fun learning the basics of baseball in a relaxed, laid-back setting, straight from the Aces players. The event, which will take place on the field at Aces ballpark, is open to all skill levels, from newly-minted fans to serious hardball and softball players.
A short session will be held before the event to brief interested players on the history and rules of baseball. Following the information session, players will take the field alongside the Aces for a morning of baseball fun.
The $65 registration fee includes personal instruction from Reno Aces players, a t-shirt, an infield reserved ticket to that night's game, a catered lunch and a camp photo. The Aces will face the Albuquerque Isotopes that night, with first pitch set for 7:05 p.m.
Space is limited, so those who are interested are encouraged to register early. Registration forms can be accessed by clicking here.
