51s cap included on CSI episode

LAS VEGAS: The Las Vegas 51s professional baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, will have their baseball team cap included on an upcoming episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation on Thursday, Dec. 8. The award-winning television series is broadcasted on Thursday's at 9 p.m. on KLAS (CBS), Channel 8.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation ("TV's Number One Show") is filmed primarily in the state of California. Several location shots are filmed in Las Vegas throughout the duration of the series. "Area 51" has also been portrayed in past episodes.

The Las Vegas 51s baseball team was also mentioned on an episode of last season's Las Vegas, which airs on Monday's on NBC at 9 p.m. on KVBC, Channel 3.

CSI has an award winning cast that includes: William Petersen (Gil Grissom), Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows), Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown), George Eads (Nick Stokes), Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle), Paul Guilfoyle (Capt. Jim Brass), Robert David Hall (Doctor Albert Robbins) and Eric Szmanda (Greg Sanders).

The show has garnered many accolades and awards that include: two-time People's Choice Award as favorite Television Dramatic Series (2003-04), TV Guide Award, Casting Society of America Award, Emmy Award and Golden Globe, to name a few.

The 51s will open their 24th PCL season on Thursday, April 6 against Fresno, at 7:05 p.m. at Cashman Field. Season tickets and mini-plan packages (10, 20, 33-game plans) are available by calling the 51s office at (702) 798-7825.
