Drillers Home for 7 Games July 27-August 2
Tulsa has experienced a good deal of success against the Travelers this season with an overall record of 15-9, including a 6-2 mark at ONEOK Field. The Naturals, on the other hand, have had the Drillers number so far in 2012, leading the season series 10-6. The Drillers, however, have notched four of their six victories against Northwest Arkansas at home.
There will be a multitude of great promotions during the Drillers stint at home. A few of the highlights will be OKC Thunder Night on July 28, Mark "Captain Teixeirica" bobblehead giveaway on July 30 courtesy of Primeaux Kia and Z104.5 The Edge, and a special edition of Thirsty Thursday on August 2 featuring Luchador Wrestling.
Tulsa's Channel 8 Grand Slam Saturday will pay tribute to the 2012 NBA Western Conference Champion OKC Thunder on July 28. The first 1,200 fans, ages 5 and up, will receive an official OKC Thunder License Plate and the team's entertainment group, the Storm Chasers, will be on hand. The Thunder's official merchandise truck will also be at ONEOK Field and will be open from 5:00PM until the end of the Drillers game.
The fourth of six installments of the "Bobblehead Heroes" giveaways will be on Monday, July 30. Joining Tim Wheeler, Wilin Rosario, and Hornsby in bobblehead form will be former Driller Mark Teixeira as "Captain Teixeirica".
Other promotions during the homestand will include News on 6 Friday Night Fireworks on July 27, 2 News Works for You Family FUNday Sunday on July 29 and $2 Tuesday on July 31, and Fox 23 Bark in the Park Night on August 1.
All seven games in the homestand have scheduled starting times of 7:05PM. Tickets for all the games are now on sale at the ONEOK Field Ticket Office at 201 N. Elgin Ave. and at TulsaDrillers.com. Tickets are also available by calling (918)744-5901.

TULSA'S CHANNEL 8 GRAND SLAM SATURDAY / OKC THUNDER NIGHT

The Drillers will wear special purple jerseys that will be available in silent auctions during the game with all proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer's Association of Tulsa.

2 NEWS WORKS FOR YOU FAMILY FUNDAY SUNDAY / "SPLASH DOWN" NIGHT
It is a 2 News Works for You Family FUNday Sunday at ONEOK Field, presented by K95. Fans entering through the Arvest and Oil Derrick Entrances will receive an official 2012 Drillers team photo. Drillers players will be available along the stadium concourse from 6:00-6:30PM to sign autographs.
In addition, the first 500 young fans, ages 12 and under, will get a Kids Eat Free Coupon that is redeemable for a free hot dog, ice cream and milk courtesy of Borden Dairy and K95.
It is also a "Splash Down" Night with a special fire truck providing a giant water spout to help keep young fans cool courtesy of the Tulsa Fire Department and EMSA.
After the game, all kids will be allowed onto the field to run the bases courtesy of Danny Beck Chevrolet.

It's another night of discounts at ONEOK Field with $2 Tuesday presented by 2 News Works For You. General Admission tickets on the Primeaux Kia Lawn are only $2.00 each, while all other tickets are discounted $3.00 off normal prices. In addition, Driller Dogs, Mazzio's Pizza slices, 21oz Pepsi fountain drinks and jumbo soft pretzels will be on sale for only $2.00 each.
In addition, it is a Corona Happy Hour from 6:00-8:00PM, with Corona bottles on sale for only $2 each at the Beer Carts located next to Siegi's Sausage Shack behind home plate and next to the BBQ Cart on the third base concourse.
After the game, young fans can go down on the field for a race from home to first base in the Danny Beck Chevrolet Dash for First.

FOX 23 BARK IN THE PARK
Dog owners are invited to bring their furry friends to the ballpark courtesy of FOX 23 and 94.1 The Sound. All dogs are admitted free, but they must have proof of up-to-date vaccinations in order to gain admittance. Fans with dogs should enter the park through either the Oil Derrick Entrance or the Arvest (Brady Street) Entrance. Pawcasso's will be offering free doggie snacks on the concourse.

LUCHADOR WRESTLING/ THIRSTY THURSDAY
The homestand concludes with the ever popular Thirsty Thursday, with 12 ounce servings of Bud and Bud Light and 16 ounce servings of Pepsi products on sale for only $1 each.
The masked luchadores from Elote will also be visiting ONEOK Field for the first time with three matches taking place on the third base concourse starting at 8:00PM!
