Barons tickets on sale

HOOVER, Ala. - Single-game tickets are now on sale for all 70 Birmingham Barons home games in the 2008 season. Fans can purchase tickets at the Barons office between the hours of 9 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday and by phone at (205) 988-3200. On game days, the ticket office is open during the day from 10 am-4 pm and one hour before game time. In addition, fans can purchase tickets online at Barons.com on either the "Tickets" page or by going to the season schedule and clicking on the "T" icon on each individual day. All tickets, whether purchased online or in person, also serve as a coupon to get six free wings (with the purchase of six wings) at the Buffalo Wild Wings locations on Hwy. 150 and Hwy. 280.

There are three types of reserved seats available: corporate box ($12), field box ($10), and regular box ($8). General admission seats are $6. Children (12 and under), seniors, and military get $1 discounts on the listed prices. The prices remain unchanged from 2007.

Tickets are also now on sale for the 13th Annual Rickwood Classic, to be played at historic Rickwood Field on Wed., May 28. All tickets are general admission and are $9. Groups of 20 or more can get their tickets for $8 each.

Several bulk ticket packages are still available as well, including full- and mini-season ticket plans, "Perfect 10" packages, and "Family Night" groups.

The Barons will open the 2008 campaign against the Tennessee Smokies on Thursday, April 3. Game time is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
