Send us your "Picture of the Year"

Fans encouraged to email in photos from the ballpark

A picture's worth a thousand words, sure. But now a picture could also be worth the first pitch on Opening Day 2013!

The Kannapolis Intimidators are launching a campaign to find the Picture of the Year from 2012. Fans who have been out to the ballpark this season are invited to email pictures -- be it from your camera phone or a disposable camera -- for a chance to win Picture of the Year. Whether you posed with the mascot, got pictures with players, or even took a snapshot of your first foul ball, we want to see it!

Email your entries to [email protected] with the subject line "Picture of the Year" by the end of the year. The Intimidators will collect our favorites and post them in an album on the team's Facebook page for fans to vote on the winner. The winning entry will receive four complimentary tickets to the Intimidators 2013 home opener on Thursday, April 11, against Hickory and will throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the game.

Haven't been to the ballpark yet this season? There's still time! The Intimidators last home stand of the year starts on Tuesday, Aug. 28, and the team has seven more games at CMC-NorthEast Stadium this season. Send us your fun pictures from your group night out, birthday party or even just a fun Thirsty Thursday, and you could win Picture of the Year.
