Gary Sheffield Bobblehead Night Saturday

On Saturday the Helena Brewers will open a three game series against the Orem Owlz and fans should be sure to come to the ballpark early. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a Gary Sheffield Helena Gold Sox Bobblehead presented by Sleep City, PPL Montana and ABC/Fox Montana.

Sheffield called Kindrick Legion Field home in 1986 as a member of the Milwaukee Brewers organization. In 57 games as a Gold Sox, Sheffield clubbed 15 home runs, knocked in 71 RBI and stole 14 bases. The former sixth overall pick hit .365 on the season and finished his Gold Sox career with a 1.052 OPS.

As a Major Leaguer, Sheffield was an All Star on seven different occasions, earned four Silver Sluggers, and finished in the top ten in MVP votes five times. Sheffield finished his career with 509 home runs, 1676 RBI, 253 stolen bases and 2689 hits.
