Good Karma Monday with Captain Underpants
The Emeralds return to PK Park for the final regular season series of 2012. The Ems start a 5-game series with the Spokane Indians Monday at 7:05. Going into play on Monday the Ems are tied with the Vancouver Canadians to clinch a Northwest League Playoff spot.
The Canadians open a 5-game series to close out the regular season tomorrow in Yakima. The Ems must finish a game ahead of Vancouver to clinch the final Western Division playoff spot in the Northwest League. If the Emeralds do appear in the postseason, they will host game one of the three game Divisional Series against the Everett AquaSox on Monday Night. If the Ems were to win the Divisional Series, they would host game one of the Championship Series against the top team in the East Division on Thursday night. Times for both contests are to be determined.
Monday is Captain Underpants Day presented by Scholastic Books. The first 1,000 kids 14 and under will receive a Captain Underpants book. Captain Underpants himself will be in attendance at the game and will be handing out temporary tattoos.
The Ems will host the third Good Karma Monday. Fans will be able to name their own price for tickets with half of each sale going to Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley. Selected price tickets are only available the day of the game at the Ticket Office. Tickets must be purchased at exact dollar increments in the hours from 9 a.m. through the 6th inning of the game.
