Major-Minor doubleheader set at RFK
The Washington Nationals, parent club of the Potomac Nationals, will take on the Baltimore Orioles at 1:05 p.m. which will be followed by the Potomac Nationals taking the field against the Salem Avalanche, affiliate of the 2005 National League Champion Houston Astros. The Minor League game will be an official Carolina League game and will be considered a Potomac home game.
Potomac became an affiliate of the then-Montreal Expos prior to the team's move to the nation's capital for the 2005 season. The 2006 season will be Potomac's second season being affiliated with the Washington Nationals. This will be the first time the two teams play on the same field on the same date after the teams both played home games on the same date 37 times last season.
Tickets for the game at RFK Stadium will be available through the Washington Nationals. A single ticket will allow admission to both the Major League game and the Minor League game.
