Kouzmanoff Activated from 7-Day DL

SPRINGDALE, AR - The Naturals' parent club, the Kansas City Royals announced a transaction on Friday affecting the Northwest Arkansas Naturals' roster. Infielder Kevin Kouzmanoff has been activated from the seven-day disabled list.

Kouzmanoff appeared in 29 games for the Naturals, belting two home runs and knocking in 12. The power-hitting right-handed hitter also had 9 doubles this season in Northwest Arkansas. Kouzmanoff hit .262 in Triple-A Omaha before joining the Naturals in mid-July.

The third baseman spent six years in the major leagues with the Cleveland Indians, San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics, and Colorado Rockies. Kouzmanoff belted 85 home runs in the major leagues and was signed as a free agent by the Royals in January of this year.

Following the transactions, the Naturals' roster is at the Texas League limit of 25.
