Mike Spidale to Host Fall Baseball Camp
Two time Reading Phillies MVP, Mike Spidale and the Reading Phillies have announced a Fall Baseball Camp that is being hosted at FirstEnergy Stadium on Saturday, October 13th and Sunday, October 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Along with leading regional baseball coaches, Spidale will be instructing children ages 7 to 16 on the same field the Reading Phillies play on throughout the summer.
As one of the most popular players in the Reading Phillies' illustrious
46-year history, Spidale set all-time records in hits and game played during the
2011 season, where he also finished second in the Eastern League in hits (161)
and third in batting average (.326). Through the 2012 season, Spidale has 570
hits over 515 games played with the R-Phils.
All participants will receive an Official Mike Spidale Fall Baseball Camp t-shirt and 10 free rounds of hitting at Grand Slam USA to help improve their hitting during the
offseason. Spidale's camp is designed to help youth baseball players at all
levels with kids being placed in "teams" according to their age group.
Attached is a registration form with detailed information regarding the camp.
