Ironettes Program Expanded for 2013

Pep up the IronPigs by being part of the 2013 Ironettes Dance Team presented by Capital BlueCross at Coca-Cola Park! With the program continuing to grow it has now been split into two groups, based on the ages of the participants. Girls ages 5-8 will be on the Jr. Ironettes Team and girls ages 9-12 will be on the Ironettes Team allowing professional dance instructor Tanya Yost the opportunity to teach different dances for the different age groups.

The 2013 Ironettes and Jr. Ironettes program has been expanded this season to include two rehearsal dates, three performance game dates, seven hours of professional instruction and two choreographed dance routines. Each Ironettes package also includes a T-shirt and a game ticket for each performance date (for the Ironette only). Ironettes may also perform at special events throughout the year included the 2013 Allentown/Bethlehem Halloween parades.

New instructor Tanya Yost has many years of professional dance under her belt and is also the owner of Miss Tanya's School of Dance.

Team Dues remain at $150 per participant for both the Jr. Ironettes and Ironettes program. Specialized hats and jackets for the Ironettes program are also available for an additional charge.

2013 Schedule

Jr. Ironettes Team (Ages 5-8):

  • Mandatory Rehearsal Date: Saturday, March 2 (8:30 a.m. to 12 noon)
  • Additional Rehearsal Date (optional): Thursday, March 21 (6 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
  • Performance Game Dates: Tuesday, April 9 (7:05 p.m.), Tuesday, May 7 (7:05 p.m.) and Monday, June 10 (7:05 p.m.)

Ironettes Team (ages 9-12):

  • Mandatory Rehearsal Date: Saturday, March 2 (2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
  • Additional Rehearsal Date (optional): Thursday, March 21 (7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.)
  • Performance Game Dates: Wednesday, April 10 (7:05 p.m.), Wednesday, May 8 (7:05 p.m.) and Tuesday, June 11 (7:05 p.m.)
