'Riders to name Clark pitching coach

February 2, 2006
ARLINGTON -- The Rangers are expected to hire Terry Clark as their Double-A Frisco pitching coach, according to club officials.

Clark would replace John Wetteland, who was hired by the Washington Nationals to be their bullpen coach last week.

Clark was also with the Nationals organization, hired as their Double-A Savannah pitching coach last month. He spent parts of six seasons in the Major Leagues with seven organizations, including the Rangers in 1997.
