CT Tigers Release 2013 Schedule

NORWICH, CT- The 2013 Connecticut Tigers schedule is now available online at cttigers.com and features six Friday fireworks games in addition to five Saturday promotional giveaways. The 2013 season begins on Monday, June 17 against the Lowell Spinners, the NYPL affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, at 7:05 p.m. at Dodd Stadium with fireworks after the game.

"Our fourth season at Dodd Stadium is really starting to shape-up," said Tigers Vice President/General Manager C.J. Knudsen. "We are continuing to focus our efforts on providing a high-quality affordable entertainment option for families throughout Connecticut, while brining the 2013 All-Star Celebration Game to Dodd Stadium. It should be a wonderful summer for the entire family at the ball yard."

Daily game times will remain the same in 2013: Monday-Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 4:05 p.m. The Tigers will play seven games against the Spinners (Red Sox) on the following dates: June 17-18, July 26-27, and August 21-22 and August 30. The Staten Island Yankees will come to Dodd from July 23-25 and the Tigers will face the Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets) from July 13-15. The Monday, July 15 game will be the Tigers annual camp day with a special 11:05 a.m. start.

The 2013 promotional schedule is starting to come together and fans can visit cttigers.com for additions throughout the winter and spring months.

The Connecticut Tigers are the NYPL affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play a 76 game (38 home, 38 away) schedule from late June through early September. 2013 season tickets and tickets to the 2013 NYPL All-Star Celebration Game are now on sale!
