Six Drillers Named All-Stars

The Tulsa Drillers were represented by six players on the Texas League North Division All-Star Team that was announced by TL President Tom Kayser Thursday evening. The group of Drillers included infielders Corey Wimberly and Tony Blanco, outfielders Dexter Fowler and Matt Miller and pitchers Adam Bright and Ryan Mattheus.

The six are a part of the North Division team that will play the South Division in the Texas League All-Star Game at Springfield's Hammons Field on Wednesday, June 25. Both squads were determined through voting by league managers and league media members.

Wimberly will be the starting second baseman for the North, while Miller and Fowler will be starting outfielders. Blanco will be a reserve infielder.
