February 14, 2006
TOLEDO, OH: Toledo Mud Hens Vice President\General Manager, Joseph D. Napoli, announced today that ProMedica Health System has been named as the title sponsor for the 2006 Triple-A All Star Week (July 10-12, 2006).

Alan W. Brass, FACHE, Chief Executive Officer and President of ProMedica Health System enthusiastically endorsed his organization's participation. "For ProMedica Health System, this title sponsorship is the continuation of what has been a very long and very strong partnership with the Toledo Mud Hens. With a theme of Swinging Big for Health, this three-day event, culminating in the 2006 All-Star Game, is more than a high-profile sports event. It is a high-profile health event that will showcase to the nation the emphasis Toledo places on health and wellness."

"ProMedica 'stepped up to the plate' to become the title sponsor of the 2006 Triple-A All Star Game because, like the Mud Hens, we love this community. We believe in the dreams of our youth. We understand it is through opportunities to be involved; to participate in athletics and become more in tune to your health needs that the spirit for the game translates into the energy for participation."

Brass added, "As the nation's 1st most integrated health care system, we work constantly to raise the health status of this community and to educate our kids that the healthy lifestyles they put into play today will make for bright, healthy and productive tomorrows. We chose to become the title sponsor because, in so doing, we can bring to life the mission of both the Mud Hens and ProMedica."

Brass added, "With exciting contests planned for area schools that will enhance their physical education programs, to dozens of health and wellness activities throughout ProMedica Fan Fest, the Home Run Derby and the All Start Game itself, ProMedica will help thousands step up to the plate and swing big for their health."

Joe Napoli of the Mud Hens said, "With ProMedica's recent recognition as the 1st most integrated health care system in the United States, we have a strong starting line up. We are thrilled to have this long standing community partner step up to the plate in support as our community makes history with the ProMedica 2006 All Week. "
