Can't-Miss Acts Coming to L.P. Frans!

HICKORY, NC - The Hickory Crawdads, South Atlantic League affiliate of the Texas Rangers, have yet another fun-filled slate of promotions at L.P. Frans Stadium, highlighted by an entertaining series of acts and performances. Individual tickets for ALL 2013 Crawdads home games go on sale at the Spring Fling this Saturday, February 23 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The FUN kicks off during the 'Dads Opening Weekend series against the Greensboro Grasshoppers with two performances by The Utility Man, presented by Community Alternatives of North Carolina-Rescare Residential Services. The Utility Man, who will perform on Friday, April 5, as well as Saturday, April 6, is a do-it-all baseball entertainer who combines multiple characters in one-on-one fan interaction with on-field acts throughout the game. The ZOOperstars! will make their return to L.P. Frans Stadium twice this season, first on Saturday, May 25 at 6 p.m., presented by 1290 WHKY, before returning on Saturday, August 24 at 7 p.m., presented by KICKS 103.3FM. The ZOOperstars!, presented by Autoworks of Valdese, Carey's Auto Shop, Dickinson Service Center, Main Street Tire and Auto, Perry's Service Center, and Redline Automotive, rock the crowd with routines that fans of all ages will love. The inflatable characters never cease to entertain, whether they are wildly dancing on the field, creating havoc on top of a dugout, or mingling with the audience. The first ZOOperstars! performance will be followed the next day on Sunday, May 26, at 5 p.m. by Fur Circus. Fur Circus is an authentic circus-themed entertainment group comprised of a live action ringmaster, Rizzo, and three enFURtaining characters, Buddy the Bear, Myles the Monkey and Splash the Elephant. On Saturday, July 6, the 7 p.m. game against the Kannapolis Intimidators will feature an appearance by WWE Hall of Fame wrestler and color commentator "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, presented by WNNC 1230AM. DiBiase is a former three-time WWF Tag Team Champion, WWF North American Heavyweight Champion and 1988 King of the Ring. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2010. Join the Crawdads for some spring-time FUN, food and entertainment at this year's FREE Spring Fling this Saturday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at L.P. Frans Stadium. The Spring Fling is your FIRST CHANCE to get individual tickets for all 2013 home games!

As a special promotion to celebrate the 21st season of Crawdads Baseball, all fans that bring any combination of 21 coins to the Ticket Office during the Spring Fling can get one grandstand ticket for any of the 2013 Opening Weekend games (April 4-7). If you bring 42 coins, you'll get two tickets, 63 coins will get you three tickets and 84 coins will get you four tickets. There is a four ticket maximum per person.

The 'Dads are also offering fans the opportunity to play Blackjack with the chance to win FREE TICKETS!

For every four tickets purchased at regular price during the Spring Fling, you can play one FREE hand of Blackjack. If you beat the dealer, you win TWO additional ticket vouchers (of equal value) for any 2013 home game in April or May. If you draw Blackjack, you win FOUR additional ticket vouchers (of equal value) to any April or May home game.
