Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryouts at Pfitzner Stadium on Sunday, March 17th
Woodbridge, VA-Pfitzner Stadium, home of the Potomac Nationals, will be the host site of an Under Armour® Baseball Factory™ National Tryout on Sunday, March 17th, 2013 at 1:00p.m. EST.
Amateur baseball players will have the invaluable opportunity to receive a jumpstart on their college baseball careers by participating in an on-field workout that will be performed in front of Baseball Factory scouts who will evaluate players based on speed, pitching, hitting, defense, and arm strength.
Professional scouts from the Baseball Factory will provide a verbal evaluation to players who attended the tryouts over the phone within 72 hours of the workout. This scouting report is engineered to reveal players' collegiate potential, while suggesting areas of improvement, and allowing players to compare themselves against competition across the nation.
Players will then contact Baseball Factory to find out if they have been selected to compete on an Under Armour® Baseball Factory National Tournament Team, to participate in an Under Armour® Baseball Factory National Training Camp or the Under Armour® All-America Baseball Game. This annual game is played at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois and features the 36 best high school players.
Furthering the preparation for college competition, players and parents will engage in a College Recruiting Seminar, where they will learn the do's and don'ts of the college recruiting process, along with detailed steps to prepare for a college baseball career. Baseball Factory representatives will use their background and experience to help players best market themselves to college coaches.
The cost for the Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryouts is $99 per player. Interested players may register by calling 800-641-4487 extension 101 or online at www.baseballfactory.com. Follow this link to register: http://www.baseballfactory.com/tryouts/

About Under Armour®:
It started with a simple plan to make a superior T-shirt. A shirt that provided compression and wicked perspiration off your skin rather than absorb it. A shirt that worked with your body to regulate temperature and enhance performance.
Founded in 1996 by former University of Maryland football player Kevin Plank, Under Armour is the originator of performance apparel - gear engineered to keep athletes cool, dry and light throughout the course of a game, practice or workout. The technology behind Under Armour's diverse product assortment for men, women and youth is complex, but the program for reaping the benefits is simple: wear HeatGear® when it's hot, ColdGear® when it's cold, and AllSeasonGear® between the extremes.
Under Armour's mission is make all athletes better through passion, design and the relentless pursuit of innovation.
