Knights Issue Casting Call for On-Field Master of Ceremonies

(Fort Mill, SC) -- Think you have what it takes to be the Charlotte Knights next on-field host/emcee at Knights Stadium? Do you know how to energize a crowd? If so, then the Charlotte Knights are looking for you to entertain fans before, during, and after every Knights home game of the 2013 season.

"If you are energetic, quick wit, and have a positive, upbeat personality, we want to hear from you," said Knights General Manager of Baseball Operations Scott Brown. "Our on-field host/emcee is a big part of our game entertainment and we are looking for a diamond in the rough for our 24th and final season at Knights Stadium!"

The position is part-time, and the on-field host/emcee is expected to perform at all 72 home games this season. If you are interested in this opportunity, feel free to send a link to your YouTube video to Media Relations Director Tommy Viola at [email protected]. Opening Day is Thursday, April 11 at 7:15 p.m. against the Gwinnett Braves at Knights Stadium. The final regular season game at Knights Stadium is set for Monday, September 2 at 2:15 p.m. against Gwinnett.
