Canadians host Family Fun Sundays

VANCOUVER -- The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club, in partnership with A&W Restaurants, will host the first of five A&W Family Fun Sundays out at Nat Bailey Stadium starting this Sunday, June 29, as the C's host the Eugene Emeralds at 1:05 p.m. with gates opening at 11:30 a.m.

Over the course of the 2008 Vancouver Canadians season, the first 500 kids to walk through the gates during an A&W Family Fun Sunday will get a great giveaway courtesy of A&W Restaurants and the C's.

A&W Restaurants will also be pouring their famous, rich and creamy root beer floats for just $1 during all A&W Family Fun Sundays. All proceeds from the root beer float sales will benefit local charities including the BC Children's Hospital this coming Sunday, June 29.

At the conclusion of every A&W Family Fun Sunday, all children 12 and under will have the opportunity to come onto the field and run the same base path as our very own Vancouver Canadians.
