Game Used Items Sale, Auction

A-Braves exhibition game items will be available in store, online

PEARL, MS -- The Extra Innings Team Store is selling and auctioning off numerous game used items as part of Trustmark's Atlanta Braves Exhibition Game presented by Trustmark Bank, the Mississippi Army National Guard and Mississippi Development Authority Tourism Division. An MLB Authenticator will be on hand to oversee the collection and authentication process. 

Game used memorabilia that will be available for fans to purchase include the following: ceremonial first pitch home plate and pitching rubber, special commemorative jeweled game used bases, game used baseballs and broken bats. 

Other items will be available via the Mississippi Braves online auction site beginning Friday, April 5. Those items include select game used jerseys, caps, locker nameplates and lineup cards from both teams. Fans can visit the online auction site at mbraves.milbauctions.com.

Trustmark's Atlanta Braves Exhibition Game is slated for Saturday, March 30 at 2:05 PM. Gates open at 11:00 AM. Fans are encouraged to come early and carpool. Local fans are also advised to pick up their tickets from Will Call prior to March 30. The Trustmark Park Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

The Mississippi Braves is the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Since making the move from Greenville, SC, in 2005, over 70 M-Braves have gone on to play in the big leagues. The M-Braves have made postseason play twice and went on to win the Southern League Championship in 2008. The 2013 season starts Thursday, April 4 at 7:00 PM against the Mobile BayBears. Tickets are available online, at the Trustmark Park Box Office or by calling 888-BRAVES4. Fans can listen live to all games locally on WYAB 103.9 FM or tune in online.
