Single game tickets go on sale Wednesday

OMAHA, Neb. -- Single game tickets for the Omaha Royals 2006 season go on sale Wednesday, March 1st. Tickets may be purchased at Rosenblatt Stadium from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or by calling the Royals ticket office at (402) 738-5100. They will also be available on line at www.Oroyals.com or www.Etix.com, as well as at all Homer's locations.

The Royals will again play 72 home games during the 2006 Pacific Coast League season. Omaha's home and season opener is Thursday, April 6, at 7:05 p.m., when the Royals host the Nashville Sounds at Rosenblatt Stadium.

For most home games, advance ticket prices are $9.00 for Field Box seats, $7.00 for Reserved and $5.00 for General Admission.

Ticket prices for three special events are $12.00 for Field Box seats, $10.00 for Reserved and $8.00 for General Admission:

Saturday, May 13 is the College Savings Plan of Nebraska's "Salute to Youth Baseball" Doubleheader. Creighton faces Indiana State at 2 p.m., followed by the Royals vs. Colorado Springs at 6:05 p.m. One ticket is good for admission to both games.

Monday, July 3: the annual Omaha World-Herald Fireworks display follows the Royals 6:05 p.m. game vs. the Iowa Cubs.

Friday, July 21 is Werner Enterprises 50th Anniversary. After the 6:35 p.m. game vs. Round Rock, fans will enjoy fireworks and a concert by Sawyer Brown.
