Captains and Catfish PPD

(Columbus, GA) - The Lake County Captains game on Tuesday against the Columbus Catfish has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a double header on Wednesday at 5:00 PM. This is the eleventh rain out for the Captains this year.

The Captains will send RHP Joey Mahalic (6-4, 3.62) and RHP Jonathan Holt (2-6, 3.44) to the mound to face Catfish LHP Brian Flores (7-5, 4.15) and RHP Jeremy Hall (8-3, 4.30). All Captains games can be heard on AM 1330 WELW, WELW.COM or CAPTAINSBASEBALL.COM.

The Captains will return home on Wednesday August 20th to wrap up the regular season portion of the home schedule. The Captains will host the SAL Play Offs beginning on September 5th.

Tickets for all Captains home games including the 2008 SAL Play Offs are on sale at the Classic Park box office, by phone at 440-954-WINS (9467) or at captainsbaseball.com. Tickets for the Play Offs remain the same as regular season game tickets, $9 reserved seat, $7 bleachers, juniors, and seniors, $6 lawn. Lawn seats for the Play Offs will only be sold once the reserved seats and bleachers are sold out. The $7 group rate will still apply to groups of 20 or more.
