Sidewinders Schedule Change

Rainout From August 15th is Cancelled

Tucson, AZ - The Pacific Coast League announced today that the previously scheduled doubleheader between the Tucson Sidewinders and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox on Wednesday, August 27th in Colorado Springs has been changed to a single nine-inning game. Game time is set for 5:05 p.m. PDT.

The doubleheader had been scheduled as a make-up of the postponed game from Friday, August 15th, but with both clubs eliminated from playoff contention the PCL office has decided to not make the game up.

Tuesday, August 26th remains a doubleheader, with the first game starting at 3:05 pm PDT. Game one will be the completion of the suspended game from Thursday, August 14th with a seven-inning contest to follow. Tuesday's broadcast will join the action in progress at 5:05 p.m.

SK Baseball, led by managing partner Stuart Katzoff, is bringing the first-ever Triple-A baseball team to Reno, Nev. SK Baseball, an Arizona Diamondbacks affiliate, is currently constructing a 10,000-seat outdoor stadium at Second Street and Evans Avenue in downtown Reno, with an expected completion date of April 2009. In addition to the $40 million ballpark, SK Baseball has plans to develop an exciting family Stadium Entertainment District that includes retail, dining and nightlife venues.
