DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:

Third baseman Tanner Rahier, right handed pitcher Pedro Diaz, and right-handed pitcher Bennett Klimesh have been promoted to Dayton from the Cincinnati Reds extended spring training camp in Goodyear, Arizona.

Infielder Carlos Sanchez, catcher/infielder Nick O'Shea, and right-handed pitcher Mo Wiley have been placed on the disabled list.  Sanchez and O'Shea suffered right knee sprains in Tuesday's game at Lake County and will be fully examined on Friday morning in Dayton.  Wiley pitched on Wednesday and is suffering from right elbow inflammation.

The Dragons roster stands at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

Rahier (pronounced RYE-er), 19, was the Reds' 2nd round draft pick in June, 2012.  The native of Palm Desert, California was rated as the 20th best prospect in the Reds organization entering the 2013 season by Baseball America.  He opened his professional career with the Arizona League Reds last summer and batted .192 with four home runs and 30 runs batted in.

Diaz is rated as the 17th best prospect in the Reds organization by Baseball America.  He is a 19-year-old hurler from the Dominican Republic who reportedly reached 98 mph last season with the Arizona League Reds.  His record last season was 1-6 with a 5.72 earned run average.  Diaz has been compared to former Dragons Johnny Cueto and Daniel Corcino.

Klimesh (kluh-MESH), 22, was the Reds 15th round draft pick in 2012 out of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.  He pitched at Billings last season, going 0-3 with one save and a 6.99 ERA in 23 games out of the bullpen.

The Dragons play in Eastlake, Ohio tonight at 6:30 p.m. against the Lake County Captains.  The Dragons open a three-game series at home against Bowling Green on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Fifth Third Field.
