September 10, 2008
West Bend Mutual Partnership "Turns" Out Big West Bend Mutual teamed up with the Snappers again this past season to help out the Stateline United Way. Here is a listing of the following contests at Pohlman Field in 2008 courtesy of West Bend Mutual and the Snappers:

--Each time a Snappers player hit a home run off the West Bend Mutual billboard, some randomly selected fan won $100.

--Each time the Snappers turned a double play at home, $50 was donated to the Stateline United Way.

--If a Snappers starting pitcher had 18 or more strikeouts in one game, $1,000 was given to a random fan.

"This year, teaming up with West Bend Mutual was a huge hit for us," said General Manager Jeff Vohs. "Working with their staff has been a privilege for us over the past few years. We are looking forward to getting next year going and hope that West Bend Mutual will remain a part of the Snappers family for many years to come."
